Induction

Volunteer duties and tasks will be allocated during your induction with either Louise or Rachel at our Head Quarters Town Hall Dental in Brighouse. Training provided will be delivered as a one off session at induction and regular three monthly meetings will take place at HQ. Appropriate training courses will be offered to meet legal and The Homeless Charter requirements.

Policies

You are protected by and expected to comply with organisational policies when volunteering. Copies of relevant policies will be provided upon induction.

Sickness/Absence

Please inform Louise Reed as soon as possible if you are unable to fulfil a commitment to attend/volunteer for any reason.

Holidays

Please inform your Louise Reed of your holiday plans as far in advance as possible.

References

You have the right to a written reference from Focus 4 Hope subject to a satisfactory period of volunteering. This will, in most cases, be provided by Louise Reed

Grievances

If you have any grievances your first point of reference should be your Louise Reed. If this is not possible or inappropriate for any reason, you should talk to Rachel Dilley. There is a procedure available outlining the process for the formal resolution of grievances. All grievances are dealt with in the strictest confidence.
