Sawan or Shravan Puja 2019

Finally the month of Saawan has begun on 17 July. The fifth month of the Hindu calendar and is considered to be the most auspicious month of the year in Hinduism. The fifth month is completely dedicated to Lord Shiva. His devotees spend their time worshiping and fasting to get his blessings.

IMPORTANCE of Somvaar / Mondays:

Great significance for the Shiva devotees. Most of the Shiv Devotees remain on Fast or Vrat on Mondays to bring desired results in their lives. It is believed that Lord Shiva always bless those who keep Somvar Fast / Vrat with good health, protection from evil and eliminates problems like,
