Shradh / Pitru Paksha starts from 13th September and would go on till 28th September 2019. These are the days when our Ancestors are worshipped. It is believed that during these days whatever we offer to our Ancestors, the pavitr Agni delivers it to them. That is why, this ritual isn’t conducted after Sun Set.
All our offerings are humbly submitted to Brahmans. As an obedient son of our Ancestors and to ensure that we pay back our Debts to them, we should ensure that the Quality of offerings should be as was used by the Ancestors. This assurance is most critical as the prime objective of Shradh / Pitru Paksha Puja is make our Ancestors happy and contented.
A good monsoon or a rain shower makes a Farmer happy and contented. In the same way proper Shradh or Pitru Paksha Puja makes our Ancestors happy and delighted. Hence it becomes utmost important for us to conduct this Puja in a proper manner.
Shradh Puja, Pind Daan cannot just be done anywhere. Following are the places in India where Shradh Puja should be conducted –
Varanasi, Gaya, Badrinath, Kurukshetra, Pushkar, Shaktibeah Tirth, Mathura, Ayodhya, Siddhpur, Allahabad, Puri, Dwarka, Haridwar, Ujjjain.
How to do Shradha?
- Book your Puja Slot (date, place & time). Arrangements at Varanasi, Badrinath, Ayodhya and Haridwar, as of now.
- Reach the Puja spot after taking bath and wearing new clothes.
- Our Teerth Purohit’s would conduct the Puja in a proper Vedic manner.
- Satwick Bhojan thali would be arranged – 4 portions to be separated initially for Cow, Dog, Crow and Guest.
- Bhojan would be consumed by Brahmans and Dakshina to be handed over to Brahmans.
If you cannot reach any of the above mentioned locations, then we can also arrange Online Shradh Puja for you in which Teerth Purohit’s would conduct the Puja in a Vedic way, enchanting your Gotra, Pitr name etc. We would share a Video Clip with you as a proof of activity conducted.
